One of the major areas of concern for any student today is the placement scenario after completion of his/her degree. Through our exclusive training methods, we endeavor to develop responsible, thoughtful engineers and individuals who create value for their organisations and communities.

Career placement plays a crucial and very supportive role in the employment of a graduate. HITAM has been very pro-active in building a remarkable graduate placement record. To achieve this objective, the college has instated a placement committee. The placement committee puts in efforts to establish institutionalized linkages between the industrial world and the academic world. The college has also signed MOUs with quite a few reputed training organisations  and companies.

TRAINING

The training and placement division critically reviews the programmes and regularly initiates modification of existing programmes and development of new ones. This division engages itself in looking after other needs of academic development and then, getting students placed into better companies. 

The training cell initiates, evaluates and processes different training programmes in the Institute.  Some successful initiatives of the training cell -

• Industry Linkage - periodic visits to relevant industries where students observe design, manufacturing, and QA methodologies of various products and prepare reports
• 204x7 Active Learning programme
• Excel Always - Placement Orientation Programme

Every training programme, in general, is effectively designed to boost the confidence levels and team spirit of the student. Training programmes are also provided in association with the Institute of Electronic Governance and under the supervision of exclusively appointed faculty, for that purpose.

HITAMS "Excel Always" Placement Orientation Programme offers a unique education that caters not only to outgoing batches but to the entire student community as well. Training need analysis is done to categorize the individual requirements of each student. The students are then trained for exponential growth by overcoming their flaws and through practical application of the knowledge they have gained.
